Canada Day Celebrations
Updated: Sep 20, 2019
Rainy weather didn't hold back festivities for Canada Day at the Bicentennial this year! Although the concert had to be moved inside, the show itself was still powered by a solar panel and a few locals took the time to provide the entertainment.
Other activities included faceprinting, tattoos an obstacle course, a fishing corner and seed bombs. There was an electric car on display and models for solar and wind energyA crowd gathered at Cornerstone park to raise the flag and sing the national anthem.
Special thanks to MVBTCC, The Deanery Project, Ecology Action Centre, HRM Recreation and any other volunteers who gave their time!
